Voice Coach, Alexander Technique teacher and Actor.

As a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and a SASTAT qualified Alexander Technique Teacher as well as a practicing Voice Coach, Caryn uses her skills and insight to enliven and prepare any speaker for formal work-place presentations as well as everyday interactions. Caryn has worked with large groups and as a private coach for years with companies like Harambee, Ernst and Young and The University of Johannesburg.

She teaches Voice, Breath and Presence at her private studio in Norwood, Johannesburg as well as on-site business.

Reneka is the Special Projects coordinator and Digital Marketing Team Leader at the University of Johannesburg Library. She is passionate about marketing, teaching, learning, and building the international profile of the university.

Karabo is the Operations Manager of UJ Arts & Culture. She is an Arts Manager, TV Producer and Naledi Award nominated production designer. She studied drama at the National School of Arts then receive her Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts Honours at Wits University majoring in Production Design and Arts Management.

Palesa Tlatsi is currently a conference coordinator for the University of Johannesburg Library. She graduated with a National Diploma in public relations and communication, and also obtained Marketing and customer-centricity from the University of Johannesburg. She is tenacious and passionate about marketing and communication and has proven agility in all the roles she taken up.

Events Coordinator at the University of Johannesburg. I have on Honours degree in Psychology plus a marketing qualification.  I have been in the marketing field within the education and training sector for over 20 years.  My roles at UJ involve: organising book launches, public lectures, special events both virtually and in the physical spaces.  I also manage relationships between internal and external stakeholders

Jade Bowers

Set & Production

Jade is a director, designer, stage, and production manager. She was recently named one of Mail & Guardian’s 200 Young South Africans and was the 2016 Standard Bank Young Artist for Theatre. She currently works for UJ Arts & Culture. Jade graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Social Sciences and from the University of the Witwatersrand with an Honours degree in directing and stage design

Ilhaam Khan

Graphics Designer

Ilhaam is an Assistant Lecturer in the Graphic Design department at UJ, working towards obtaining my Masters degree. She is  an aspiring food photographer and spend her free time working on various freelance projects.

Alistair Seymore

Alistair is a software and front-end developer. He is the web service coordinator at UJ handling infrastructure and operations. Alistair supports a variety of units and departments within the university, helping to develop front-end web related contents and solutions as well as train users
