In the wake of the unprecedented challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, TEDxUniversityofJohannesburg’s 2022 event embarked on a powerful and resonant journey of “Reconnect.” As we emerged from a period of physical distancing and isolation, this theme encapsulated the collective longing to rediscover human connections and revive the bonds that make us a vibrant community. Amidst the ongoing transformations and uncertainties, our event served as a platform to explore the profound meaning of reconnecting – with one another, with our passions, and with our shared purpose.
